As part of the Best Start Possible (BSP) family, our clinicians also have the opportunity to collaborate with BSP’s well-established paediatric speech pathology and occupational therapy team. Current Opportunities

Occupational Therapists

  • Experienced Adult OTs – community-based caseloads (NDIS, DVA, aged care)
  • Paediatric OTs – join BSP’s growing paediatric OT service (with scope to explore mixed caseloads if desired).

Speech Pathologists

  • Experienced Adult SP – an exciting opportunity to work with BSP to help launch and shape our new Adult SP service.
  • Paediatric SPs – positions within BSP’s well-established paediatric team, with opportunities to explore mixed caseloads as services expand

Allied Health Assistants (AHAs)

We’re currently looking for AHAs to support both our adult and paediatric services.

  • AHA – Adult OT focus: Work alongside occupational therapists to support adults in the community, providing functional therapy, independence-focused programs, and assistance with equipment.
  • AHA – Paediatric OT focus: Support children and families with therapy programs designed by our paediatric OTs at BSP, focusing on play, sensory regulation, and daily living skills.
  • AHA – SP focus: Assist speech pathologists in delivering therapy programs for both paediatric and adult clients, helping build communication and participation skills.

Locations

  • Able Therapy: The Team provides Adult OT across North Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Bribie Island, and Caboolture and will work out of the Strathpine clinic or from home in between appointments.
  • Best Start Possible: Paediatric SP & OT services are provided primarily from our Strathpine Clinic. Most team members will provide some community based services in schools or kindergartens on the Northside of Brisbane and Southern Moreton Bay.
